Oh, what a beautiful morning! The AOC website was down for a day before our hike, so we weren't sure who was on our hike or how many would show up. Fortunately, our seasoned members weren't deterred, and we had a full group eager to hike on drier trails after last week's mush. Flowers and spring plants are popping out all over, making for so much to see along the trails. The water in the creek was clear and a vibrant green today (perhaps the aftermath of St. Patrick's Day!), inviting way too many photos.  

Dan and Holt - - the good sports they are - - sat for a great bench photo during out trek. 

Hiking in this cool, spring-like weather is absolute joy.  ~  Joyce
