The weather was really beautiful for our hike this morning at Vickery Creek! We had a large group of our "regulars" but we also welcomed some members who were either new or who hadn't been with us in a while. (Welcome Xabier, pronounced SHA-bee, and Vicki; and welcome back Phyllis and Barbara!)

Our pace was brisk as we covered the park from one end to the other, enjoying the dry trails, blue skies, signs of spring, and each other's company! The new boardwalk was roped off, so we couldn't enter that area, and we couldn't figure out what caused the restriction, but it might be due to resurfacing the asphalting walkway. It also looks like a second sculpture or a plaque is going to be installed next to the fish sculpture.
