Fantastic hiking weather for today's hike.  We had 20 hikers as we crisscrossed Gold Branch from one side to the other.  We climbed the ridge line 4 times along the way and spent some time down by the Chattahoochee.  With all the leaves out and the azaleas blooming, Gold Branch looks very different (and beautiful).  We finished our 2 hour hike on time, covering 4.6 miles and about 700 feet of elevation.  

We had a few newer members to the club on today's hike.  Daniel was on his 5th event, Connie was on her 3rd and Gail was on only her 2nd.  Welcome to each of them.  ~ Holt
