Well we had a very interesting start to our hike.  We had a full group and another hiking group was also there with 20.  That coupled with a couple of school buses full of students on a field trip made for a pretty cramped parking lot but we all made it and quickly exited the parking lot.  We first visited the Pulp Mill ruins on the edge of Sope Creek before heading up and down the various ridge lines of the Sope Creek park.   In total we did 5 climbs along the way during our hike which was a good workout for all.  We finally reached the parking lot to complete our 5 mile hike in about 2 hours.

We had four participants on todays hike who had never been to Sope Creek so it was a pleasure to be able to share one of my favorite parks.  ~ Holt
