Great day for a hike at this gorgeous park in Athens, GA. The breeze kept us cool all the way, as we admired the beautiful scenery around the lake. We completed the 7.5 mi. In under 3 hrs. to follow with a delicious lunch in Athens. We visited the tree that "owns itself" (a must see), and the UGA campus, to return to Atlanta.
