A perfect (okay - - maybe a bit warm) day to celebrate both Memorial Day ad Susan's birthday. we had a full group of 20 who covered the trail from Sope Creek to Cochran Shoals and back (with a stop at the Columns Drive bathrooms), and we did as planned. Our 2.5 hour hike ended on time AND we just made 7 miles. What a strong group we had.

In honor of Trena who is still out of town, we ended the hike with popsicles - - a true indication that summer weather is here.
