A hot, humid day welcomed us for our hike at West Palisades.  Allen D, who is a potential trip leader in training was co lead with me today as he progresses through the TL training process.  We changed up the normal routing for our hikes at West Palisades and reversed it which gave us a completly different view.  We hit all the main areas of the park spending time on both the ridge line and down by the river. 

It was a special day today also as the summer solstice occured during our hike.  We started the hike in Spring and finishe the hike in Summer.  The group was strong today and we covered the 5+ miles and nearly 700 feet of elevation gain in a little under 2 hours. ~ Holt
