The heat and humidity were oppressive this morning . . . but we hiked, because that's what we do. But the time passed quickly with the friendly conversations diverting our attention from the sweat dripping from our faces. 

The Groveway Park entrance is a great way to begin a hike at Vickery. There is ample free parking,, there are water fountains, and there are bathrooms. It's once of our favorites. ~ Joyce
