We had 19 hikers for this trek of the trails at the Interstate North CRNRA unit.  We started on the multipurpose trails along the river before diverting over the boardwalk and into the woods.  We did several climbs along the way, before descending back to the river level and the multipurpose trail again.  Our short 10 minutes in the sun certainly heated us up before we were able to get back into the woods in the Cochran Shoals unit.  One last climb, and descent, we finished with a walk along Terrell Branch Creek and the Chattahoochee before reaching our cars.  Our 5.5 mile hike including about 500 feet of elevation was done. 

We had a brand new member of the AOC on his very first event.  Matt C (brother of Dan C) was with us and we look forward to seeing him again on future AOC events. ~ Holt
