A little less humid today and actually a cooler start. After hiking around the pond, we did make our way up to the warm up hill and lo and behold, Dan C and Susan tied! We looked for Joyce’s rock at the top of the hill and thought it had been “taken” away. But, after Shirley dug around a little, she uncovered it under a pile of leaves. We hiked through Island Ford, did the tail part of the Lollipop trail, came back up to the gravel road, and then made our way back to the parking lot by road. Some of us were hoping to find a bus at the top...... Another great Thursday morning. And, oh! By the way, it was Dan Clark’s 201st hike today😊😊 ~ Carol
