Sat, Aug 17 2019 - Ford the Chattahoochee: CRNRA Jones Bridge + Jones Bridge Park (View Original Event Details)

We had a really good hike at the two Jones Bridge parks today. Ron and Alex had an an adventurous attitude, and we not only hiked back and forth across the river, but also explored some additional side trails at Jones Bridge Park. We hiked to the a waterfall over there and also along the river, for some bonus views.
It was forecast to be super hot, but it felt pretty good most all day, along the river (or in the river). The water felt a little cold at times, but mostly very refreshing.
This was really fun and I hope to lead this one again soon.... -Tony C
