We started the morning with a little chill and cloudy. We did introductions at the Trading Post. For those that had never hiked the Iron Hill Trail directions were given on how to drive to the Iron Hill parking lot; some of us caravanned down to it. We started at the parking lot hiking in a clockwise direction. We came to the first spur, hiked to the end of the peninsula and returned. From there we continued along the trail taking the next spur. With the water level low, we were able to hike along the beach as if followed the trail. Once we arrived back at the main trail it was a short hike to the parking lot. We could not have asked for a better morning to go hiking. We hiked pasted miles of spectacular Fall views of Lake Allatoona.

I would like to thank Grace and Neeta for joining us on their first AOC Hike. Prashanthi thanks for your eight hike. Thanks to the rest of the members for making a new and newer members feel welcome.
