WoW!  What an awesome Vickery Creek Bonanza!  14 Fun Loving Explorers trekking through one of our best Metro area Nat'l Parks.  We enjoyed many natural wonders, while accomplishing 4.8 miles.  Best of all was all the new friends we made!  We saw an experieced trail blazer lift a 92 lb. German Shepard out of the creek & up the steep wall beside the waterfall.  Then, to our repeated amazement, we came upon our beautiful Great Blue Herron in our favorite creek falls setting.  Every moment was simply amazing!

10 of us joined 15 other hikers on Joyce T's weekly Island Ford hike at North River Tavern for their Thursday specials.  Well, Thank You to all the regulars &, especially, the newer members for making our day much more rewarding & exciting!!!
