Well we had a momentous hike today as two club members reached milestones.  Silvia B reached the 100 event mark and Evy B reached the 200 mark with today's hike.  We ordered up some great weather for a fine fall day spent in East Palisades. 

We wandered around from one end of the park to the other, completing 3 climbs and splitting our time between the ridge lines and time down by the river including the bamboo forest.  After completing our 5 mile hike back at the parking lot, we continued our celebration of Evy and Silvia's accomplishments with some treats.  All in all a fine day of hiking.  ~ Holt
