What a fun hike 16 of us had at Gold Branch, clocking 5 miles in 2 hours! Yeah! We left all the grown-ups at home. Dan got us started with playing hide & seek from my camera behind a tree. Remember, those little trees we thought we were totally hidden behind? Then, we saw 2 different Blue Herron, which didn't stay long enough for my 1900's camera to open its lens & capture the moment. But, best of all was Young Jeff's startling dance moves across a 2 tree bridge over a small creek! He must have been a hit in his ballet class with those kinds of shuffles. Then, he made his most ingenuous move back to where he started. However, not to be outdone, particularly, with all our gasping, directed to all the attention given to the 2 logs; Steve must have wanted to show us he hadn't forgotten all his dance moves, either. Well, those were a few of our greatest moments during our Kids day at the park!
