Another beautiful day for a hike at Kennesaw Mountain.  For our hike today we focused on the central portion of the park, hikng the Noses Creek and Hardage Mill trails.  The weather was perfect for hiking and the clear skies make all of the earthworks and fortifications stand out.  After our second crossing of Noses Creek, we headed up to Pigeon Hill, the site of some of the most fierce fighting during the 1864 battle.  We finished with one last descent to the parking lot and the end of our 5 mile hike. ~ Holt
