No doubt about it - - Holt is loved by many who loyally join him on hikes and fill those hikes up to over-capacity. They had a chance to show their affection on this doubly-special day - - Holt's 300th AOC event AND Valentine's Day!

A little pre-hike notification inspired lots of special tokens of celebration: Duck Donutes (Rocky and Claudia), a handmade selection of mixed nuts and dried fruit (Evy), cupcakes and cookies (Linda), homemade carmelita treats (Silvia), a special bandana signed by participants (Dan C.), Dove chocolates (Wendy), plus a couple of little gift items. Everything was so appealing, we "tailgated" for almost half an hour after the hike.

Of course, Holt got a special commemorative rock and poster picture - - and the entire group got special little heart rocks to keep or give to their significant others - - as momentos of the holiday.

And the weather was BEAUTIFUL!!
