I love how intelligent our members are! We had a bit of a last-minute challenge this morning, because Oxbo Road was closed at Atlanta Road, making access to our parking area available only from Grimes Bridge. In addition to that, the name of the road to the park had been changed from Dodd Rd. to Frank Lewis Rd. Nonetheless, all of the participants managed to arrive on time! I was so impressed.

We had a great hike on some beautiful trails. We had heavy rains yesterday, but the trails were remarkably un-muddy. We went up and down hills, past some ruins, and across a few creeks before arriving back at our parking lot (with a little assistance from Susan F.) right on time. We passed one of our AOC members (Pete O.) on a solo hike and stopped for a short greeting. ~ Joyce
