The morning started cloudy and with an unexpected temperature of 68. With that said there was the parking lot. Those of us arriving very early discovered that the lot us almost full and those arriving 15 minutes early, although on time for the hike had to wait about 20 minutes for a parking spot. Finally, everyone found parking and we were able to do introductions and start about 10 minutes late.

The hike proceeded in accordance with the published plan. A special thanks to Janet who helped keep me on track on the occasions I needed it. The weather was more like early fall than that of mid-summer and no one complained. With all this we still managed to finish five minutes early.

I would like to thank Sheri for joining us on her fourth AOC Hike and Dawn for her ninth AOC hike. Thanks to the rest of the members for making them feel welcome.
