Write Up:It was a good decision to start early at 8:30 as we stayed relatively cool for the duration of the hike. 6 hikers enjoyed rock-hopping over beautiful Mulberry Creek and gazing at the river in Johnson Ferry North. We carried on along the pipeline meadow to view Morgan Falls Dam and saw families of geese and ducks. Our last pipe crossing had us bumping in to engineers and we found out that bridges are being built on the 3 big pipes that you currently have to walk across. Fulton County is building the bridges as they lay watershed pipes closer to the river, but they guarantee this will not disturb hiking. We saw beautiful flowers including one morning glory on its only day of bloom. 5.5 miles at 3.0 mph.
