Another lucky weather day! Because of the high chance of rain this morning, I sent an email to the group telling them we would be starting the hike at 9:30 am instead of 10 am. Everyone got the message, and all 8 arrived on time. (I love how good our Island Ford vets are, taking a chance on rain and following directions!)

Because of the limit of 10 people per hike, we usually run across several AOC members doing their own hikes, and today was no exception. We encountered three separate groups of friends hiking this morning.

Lunch on the sidewalk at Samad's was a nice way to dry off and socialize after the hike - - and we all seriously needed to dry off! It was a hot, humid morning. ~ Joyce
