Our 8 am start this morning was perfect! The parking lot was empty except for our cars as we gathered. All of the participants were prompt, so we left right on time after our introductions. As promised, we kept the hike moderate, though on some of the long hills, we still managed to breathe hard and break into a sweat. 

This was Jamila's first time at East Palisades, so the bamboo forest was a big hit. ~ Joyce
