An interesting route this morning that started at Grimes Bridge, went across the park a couple of times, passed by both sides of the dam, went by the Founders' Cemetery, and ended by hiking up Oxbo Road to the Waller Extension trail.

The river was at its most forceful today, flowing fast and full. We could hear the waterfall long before we could see it! It was remarkable.

There were more mushrooms today than ever before, some of them quite beautiful. Nice to run across Susan F., James and Marianna today during our hike! ~ Joyce
