WOW, I haven't seen a BALD EAGLE while kayaking on the Hootch ever...until now! Pretty epic display of grace, power and perseverance. An Osprey was not thrilled that this massive Raptor was set up in his lil nook of the river...but the Bald Eagle just held solid as the Osprey repeatedly dive bombed him. It was clear this Eagle was going no where....even after several photos...paddling right below him - he was going no where. On top of all of that there was a magnificent full moon rise to be seen as we returned from our 10,000m + paddle! C-ya all soon
