It was my first hike since returning from a trip to West Virginia - - and what a wonderful way to get back to the trails . . . celebrating Gerrilyn's 300th AOC event. She worked for weeks to assure that her 300th would fall on today's hike . . . and a charity donation to the AOC nearly ruined things. (Let Gerrilyn tell you the story!)

The weather was beautiful this morning - - a welcome reprieve after Hurricane Sally passed through. It was terrific to see these friendly faces again! ~ Joyce
