Another great hike at East Palisades.  We started at the Indian Trail trailhead which was exceptionally busy for a weekday afternoon.  We headed out to the north end of the park, reaching Riverview Road where we took a quick break.  Then down to the river and out to the bamboo forest where we found ourselves in the middle of a photo shoot. 

As we started heading south, we stopped at the Poppi's Point overlook where we got great views of the Chattahoochee.  Then back down to the river level again for a some time along the fast moving river.  On the way back to the cars we hiked by the tall cliffs before we started our last climb of the day.  Then back to the access road for our final stretch before reaching our cars.  We covered the 5.1 miles, with 700 feet of elevation in about 2 hours.  ~  Holt
