10+km this evening up the Hootch with a flow rate of 9,000 cf/s was a lesson in brutality. Dodging debris AND TREE TRUNKS (that were bigger than my kayak, no joke) was the "up river" task that would take no prisioners...if you stopped to check your cell phone you lost 100 yards almost instantly! But, "going with the flow" home...that was the blessing...20 min/kilometers turned into 4 min/Km...and a killer sunset. I'm like a Mellow Mushroom pizza...BAKED! night y'all c-ya soon!
