The skies remained overcast, but that didn't dampen the spirits of today's group. Everyone was up for the fast-paced hike that resulted in 5.9 miles in 2 hours.

We saw one of Bleau's youngsters at the water's edge before the hike, and we were able to take several photos. Sadly, a sighting of Bleau himself was cut short when Mikey scared the fellow into flight with a shrill whistle that didn't sound at all like an available female heron.

The trails today were wet but not muddy, which required careful footing at the pace we were maintaining. The photos in this album combine those taken by Joyce, Russ and Lee. ~ Joyce
