What a hike! More like an obstacle course. The trails, especially in the Cochran Shoals section, presented a constant demand for climbing over, through, under, and around. People with short legs were especially challenged! Despite the surprisingly difficult climbs, the group was very positive throughout our 2+ hour trek. It was, after all, an adventure!
Sadly, we began our hike with the sighting of a very young deer that had been hit and killed by a car. Such a sweet little thing to have lost its life.
This was the last day of my 10-day commitment to hike 5 miles/day for the #runfornurses2020 event in Thailand. ~ Joyce
