Sat, Oct 31 2020 - Cloudland Canyon State Park - Sittons Gulch Trail and Hemlock Falls Trail (View Original Event Details)
|
Saturday was my first visit to Cloudland Canyon State Park - quite a long drive but a very beautiful place and worth the drive. Lots of steps, I was expecting steps but when you are at the bottom Sitton's Gulch looking up towards the rim sort of felt like Tallulah Gorge, maybe not quite so many steps but there were still plenty, it was the only way out so no choice but to climb them. But on the way up waterfalls galore. Our small group of six thoroughly enjoyed the trail and the falls.
Marina thanks so much for suggesting this location. Steve thanks for the photos. Bobbi's first hike with the AOC and she started with a good one.
Thanks to Youri, Greg, Marina, Steve and Bobbi for sharing the day with me at Cloudland.
