Write Up:A beautiful day for a hike at Interstate North. Our hike first headed out the multi purpose trail before crossing the swamp on the boardwalk and beginning hiking the Interstate North trails. We did most of the trails in Interstate North which included three climbs and descents. Next, we headed over to the Cochran Shoals section of this CRNRA unit where we hiked some of the trails on the eastern side of the park. We exited that section by way of trail along Terrell Branch, following that all the way to where it dumps in the Chattahoochee. We finished our hike on the multi purpose trail all the way back to our cars and the end of our hike. We clocked in at 5.4 miles in two hours. ~ Holt
