A cozy little group headed to Brookhaven this morning for an enjoyable 1 hour hike through Murphy Candler Park. It was a very special day for Claudia B. who celebrated her 200th AOC event today!

It was great to see Libby doing her trip-leader thing with a little photo support from her co-lead, Joyce.

We welcomed Joan to the AOC, who joined the club in 2015 but hasn't done a hike since then! Hopefully, we'll see a lot more of her on local hikes.

Murphy Candler Park looks a great deal different from the last time we hiked there. There are a lot of improvements being made, but right now, the area surrounding the trails seems a bit barren. Hopefully, things will look better in the spring. ~ Joyce
