We earned our D3 rating on today's hike . . .  getting almost up to 1400 feet of elevation!  The great weather dried out the trails well, so we were able to hike without the danger of muddy trails - - most of the time.  We got a little adventurous today, going in a couple of places we haven't gone before . . .  but the group was willing and able, so we challenged ourseles.

No sign of Bleau today, but Lee supplied a beautiful shot of Bleau (or a look-alike) that he took at East Palisades recently.  Either Bleau gets around or there are lots of Great Blue Heron's in our creeks and rivers.
