We were blessed with perfect weather for our hike at Red Top Mountain this afternoon.  We first headed up the White Tail Trail to the point before heading over to the Homestead,  For today's hike we decided to do the loop clockwise.  Our one break was taken at an overlook of the Lake Allatoona dam, Pine Mountain and the marina.  After finishing the Homestead loop, we crossed Lodge Road and did another bit on the Sweetgum trail before returning to the park office and our cars.  We had a strong group so we were able to cover approximately 5.75 miles in a about 2 hours.  ~ Holt
