It was a joy to take advantage of this springlike warm sunny day to ride our bikes beside the Chattahoochee between Island Ford and Gold Branch in both directions.  Along the way we took a few adventurous detours and enjoyed chatting with dozens of folks of all ages who were out hiking, jogging, dog-walking or pedaling.
  As discussed in the article, we proudly dedicate this bicycling event to our fellow AOCer, cyclist extraordinare, and 25-year director of the amazing annual "Bike Ride Across GA," Jerry Colley, who passed away last week after a  long battle with leukemia.  Survived by his wonderful wife Gloria and their family, Jerry will remain forever in the hearts of everyone who was lucky enough to get to know him.
