Russ is always up for something different . . . especially if it's a little thrilling. Once we got to Allenbrook, he couldn't resist trying the steep path from the river up to the top of the cliffs. Given the choice, half of us took the stairs up to meet the others once they climbed to the top. It was nice watching them climb up - - from above!

We welcomed Suzi and Gaby to the Tuesday hike. Though relative newcomers to the AOC, they have done some serious hiking/backpacking/traveling, so they were well able to handle whatever Russ threw at them today!

We had an extended amount of time today, so we covered an added trail and got in 7 miles. A great hike and some really good exercise! ~ Joyce
