A delightful hike this morning! Greg was a newcomer to the Thursday morning hikes, but he was fit for the difficulty.

We kept up a hefty pace with a rather long stop to meet and greet the beautiful white Husky that was part of the park's campaign to instruct hikers how to properly dispose of their canine's poop.

Joyce was first up the warm-up hill! Her first win! (Regretfully, it was Joyce S. and not Joyce T. who got that recognition! :-) She and Russ ran up part of the way, but reverted to a walk when there were no competitors in sight.

Jean and Belinda led the group back from the lollipop, assuring that we kept a fast pace. With all the stops, we still hit over 5.7 miles in our two hours.

We got a nice group photo on Schick Bridge with Dave S. in the center! No falls today! ~ Joyce
