Our second Cinco de Mayo hike was at Island Ford, where we again expected rain that never happened. We couldn't have been more pleased with the good weather.

Our group of 8 stayed on the high ground so as to avoid the flooded river trails. The plan worked well, and we were happy not to be sinking in mud throughout the hike. ~ Joyce
