Susan has filled John Bordonali's shoes well! She's really learned all the ins and outs of Simpsonwood, and ably led us up the hill to see deer (we saw one!), across the creek several times, by the meadow, past the campgrounds and stills, around the meditation circle, by the Chattahoochee, and past the chapel, filling in information about the park and Ludie Simpson along the way.

We were delighted to meet Drew and Trevor, our newest AOC members who joined us for just their second hike today.

There is much to see in Simpsonwood. It even has an open bathroom and free parking! ~ Joyce
