Write Up:
Beautiful day for a hike on the Southside. Our group hiked the 10k route past Lake Peachtree. Over a swampy boardwalk and through the wooded cart path area. We then went for a visit to Starr’s Mill. Sweet Home Alabama was filmed there. We then ventured to the little historic town of Senoia. Took some photos and had lunch at the local coffee shop. Thank you Bonnie for the local history. Thanks so much Laurene for driving us around town. Was a perfect day with a great group of happy hikers.
