I have to correct my itinerary! This adorable park does have bathrooms! It's really a perfect location for a D1 hike as you can see from the pictures. We had beautiful park views, a gravel loop trail, and wooded trails that took us to Fuller's Park! We took a very moderate pace and managed to beat the heat by staying in shade for most of the hike.

It's definitely a place to return to. And there are lots of pavilions for picnicking after a hike!

It was super nice to have Dan C. on a hike with us - - and Eric P., too! What a surprise to see Eric after well over a year. And a D1 hike is not the kind of event one would connect with Eric. Gotta thank his son, Forrest, for injuring Eric's knee and ankle. Eric needed an easy hike after his son finished with him. ~ Joyce
