We accomplished what we planned for on our hike at Sope Creek.  We hiked 5 miles, in 2 hours from Sope Creek, through Cochran Shoals, to Columns drive and back.  We maintained a steady pace for a hot & humid day! 

Not a whole lot to report on the trail.  The heat may have scared other bikers/hikers, not us!  We did spot the turtle family, on the log at the pond.
