It is late July was hot and muggy by the end of the hike. We followed Kolb’s Farm West Trail to Powder Springs Street and Kolb’s Farm west Trail. A stop for a break and pictures at the Illinois Monument, then up the Cease Fire Trail and to the Old John Ward Road Trail ending up back at the parking lot. We were able to get some good pictures for the park.

It was a day for deer we saw deer in several different parts of the park.
