The Magnificent Seven hiked again! With perfect temperatures, high humidity, and no wind hiking conditions could have been better, at least it did not rain. We did introductions and started the hike. Starting from the Pigeon Hill parking lot we headed down Noses Creek Trail until we came to Hardage Trail and followed it to Whitlock Avenue. We crossed Whitlock Avenue and followed the John Ward Trail until it met the Crease Fire Trail, turned around, and crossed Whitlock Avenue again. We than followed Noses Creek Trail until it came to the New Salem Church Trail, crossed Burnt Hickory Road, turned left on the Camp Brumby Trail, and returned to the parking lot.

Fungi, for those of us that like fungus, it wasn’t that bad. I posted pictures of ten different fungus. I think Joyce and Claudia were able to get pictures of several I missed.

I would like to thank Jane for joining us on her second hike and the rest of the group for making her feel welcome.
