It was a great hike, though a very hot and humid one! Our shirts all changed color soon into the hike as we sweated through them! We went up the road from the new trail and hiked all the way to the bathrooms at the I-41 parking lot. Then we sweated our way up the long, rutted trail. (I think 1/4 mile of climb was added to that trail!)

It was great meeting Licia (a new AOC member), and seeing all the others, (mostly vets). Because of the heat and humidity, it was a difficult hike, but we managed to hit 5 miles in our two hours with only a modicum of whining.
