It was a last-minute hike, but it turned out to be a really nice one, despite the heat and humidity. For the first hour, our path followed a recent Hasher Run, with gobs of white flour dotting the trails and tree trunks.
We hiked from the Wildwood Center through various trails all the way to the Sope Creek Unit and back, covering 7.5 miles in three hours. It was a good workout, even at a moderate pace.
