We ended up meeting at the Illinois Monument Parking Lot. From there we walked to the Illinois Monument and started removing old fencing around and leading to the monument. After stacking the old fencing, we started to put up the new fence. As a note the old fencing is being taken over to the Camp Brumby Trail where the park has a grinder, and it will be used as mulch in future park projects. The only good problem was that the group worked so fast we ran out of new fencing before more could be brought in. Best estimate we replaced about 270 pieces of fencing.
