We had a good time on this morning's volunteer project with our friend "Ranger Jonah" and about 15 other eager Park volunteers.  Focused on removing invasive privet, non-native wisteria, etc. in the vicinity of the historic Decatur Water Works. The weather was nice and we all got quite a workout with the heavy-duty privet pullers, grubbing hoes and various-size loppers. - Submitted by Charlie, Sat afternoon.  p.s.  I hope you fellow Mason Mill Park fans will forgive me for my posted "Register on" date.  Discovered only today that I'd mis-typed it as last night (Fri) - but had intended it to be last Monday.  No doubt we'd have had more volunteers without that typo!
