We did introductions in the overflow parking lot, stopped briefly at the Visitor Center, and headed to the Camp Brumby Trail. We followed the Camp Brumby Trail until we reached the Pigeon Hill Cutoff taking it to the Kennesaw Mountain Trail. We followed the Kennesaw Mountain Trail back to the Visitor Center and the overflow parking lot ending the hike. With school having started there were few other hikes on the trails until we reached Little Kennesaw. The closer we got to the Visitor Center the more people we encountered. As for the temperature, it was nice until we started up the mountains.
