The water level was low. I wondered for a few minutes if I had taken a wrong turn and we were hiking on the coastal plain and it was low tide. At one point we came around a bend in the trail and stopped looking out over a mud flat toward the Chattahoochee and Morgan Falls, the view was spectacular. Beyond that the weather was great for hiking.
